Our founders had worked on the other side of this — inside logistics companies, government infrastructure, and enterprise backend systems — and knew exactly where the shortcuts were being taken. Area29Labs was founded in January 2025 to do it differently.

Chief Executive OfficerTariq is the Chief Executive Officer of Area29 Labs and leads the company's product vision, innovation strategy, and technology direction. With over eight years of hands-on experience in hospitality and bar operations, including the successful launch of four bar concepts, he brings deep operational insight into real-world business challenges. Driven by a strong interest in technology, he transitioned into software development, automation, and AI — building practical, business-driven solutions that improve efficiency and scalability. At Area29 Labs, he bridges the gap between real-world operations and technology, ensuring that products are grounded in practical needs while leveraging modern AI and automation capabilities.
Si Thu Han
Chief Technology OfficerSi Thu Han is the Chief Technology Officer at Area29 Labs and a highly experienced Lead Java Engineer with over 10 years of expertise in building scalable backend systems across logistics, government, and enterprise sectors. He specializes in Java Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and system design for high-performance applications. His technical expertise extends into AI integration and applied data science, holding an OCI Data Science Professional certification (2025). At Area29 Labs, Si Thu leads the engineering direction, focusing on building robust, scalable, and future-ready technology solutions that power the company's products and client systems.

Chief Commercial OfficerOur Chief Commercial Officer leads commercial strategy, business development, and regional expansion across Southeast Asia. She brings over eight years of experience across Southeast Asia in business development, account management, and strategic partnerships within corporate services, HR, payroll, and business consulting. Her background in cross-border operations, compliance, and workforce solutions has given her a deep understanding of the real operational and commercial challenges businesses face when scaling in the region. At Area29 Labs, she led the development of proprietary marketing automation software focused on improving customer engagement and business efficiency.

We made it official. Area29Labs was registered as a software development company built to serve businesses across Southeast Asia and beyond with custom, production-grade digital solutions.
